呼吸は、いちばん小さな循環である。一方向に流れるだけの現代の消費に対して、アイラゴンのルーツである遊牧の世界観は、まったく別の前提に立つ。すべては呼吸のように、めぐっていく。《人類の三回目の呼吸》は、遊牧民の住居ゲル（パオ）を思わせる円筒形の構造体に、羊毛フェルトで編んだ白い三つ編みのロープが絡み合うインスタレーションである。会場に響くのは、アイラゴン自身の声——祖父から受け継いだホーメイ——と自然の音。ひとつの喉からふたつの声が生まれる歌唱は、それ自体が身体の中の循環だ。 モンゴル族には髪を三つ編み（辮）に編む伝統があり、3歳で辮を切る儀式が今も行われている。辮は身体に刻まれたアイデンティティのしるしであり、三つ編みとは、3つの束が絡み合い1つの形になることでもある——呼吸と、自然と、私たちのように。モンゴルと日本、伝統と現代、失われるものと取り戻されるもの——切り離されたものを、アイラゴンは三つ編みのように結び直していく。 本展は、才能を咲かせるヤンマーの「HANASAKA」の理念のもと、若い才能が社会へ羽ばたく場としてHANASAKA SQUAREをひらく試みでもある。消えかけた記憶に、もう一度息を吹き込むこと。この小さな広場から、その呼吸が始まる。

Breath is the smallest form of circulation. Unlike the one-way flow of contemporary consumption, the nomadic worldview rooted in Ayalguun's heritage is based on an entirely different premise. Everything circulates like breath. The third of Human Breath is an installation consisting of a cylindrical structure reminiscent of a nomadic ger, intertwined with white braided ropes made of wool felt. Ayalguun's own voice, performing khöömei learned from his grandfather, and sounds of nature fill the exhibition space. This form of singing, in which two distinct pitches are produced simultaneously by the singer, is itself a circulation within the body. Among Mongolian people, there is a tradition of braiding the hair, and the ritual of cutting the braid at the age of three is still practiced today. While the braid is one visible sign of identity, it is also three strands of hair woven into a single form—much like the interconnectedness of breath, nature, and ourselves. Like the strands of a braid, Ayalguun ties back together what has been separated—Mongolia and Japan, tradition and modernity, what is lost and what is reclaimed. This exhibition, guided by Yanmar's HANASAKA philosophy of supporting the blossoming of talent, also seeks to establish HANASAKA SQUARE as a platform from which emerging artists can take flight. It is about breathing new life into fading memories. From this small square, that breath begins.
