権威・権力・伝統に反旗を翻した「激動の60年代」を経て、1970年代はあらゆるものの輪郭が揺らぎはじめます。日本、個人、写真…。こうした状況はまさに今の私たちの「未来」を振り返るようです。本企画展では、同時代の他の分野の動向にも触れながら、70年代の熱気を感じることができる写真集や写真雑誌、関連書籍、時のフライヤーなどを70年代に存在していた建物で展示します。

After the "Turbulent 60's", which rose in revolt to authority, political power, and tradition, the 1970's started a shakeup of the outlines of everything. Japan, individuals, photography... Such circumstances are certainly like looking back on our current "future". This special exhibition
presents photobooks, photo magazines, related publications, flyers of the time, and other materials while touching on the trends in other fields in the Same period in a building that has existed since the 1970's.

写真批評／写真史研究。1980年、東京生まれ。立教大学ほか非常勤講師。『ハーパーズ・バザー』2018年9月号に「日本の今を切り取る新世代フォトグラファー」、『STUDIO VOICE』2018年3月号に「偏／遍在するドキュメンタリー」、『装苑』2019年7月号に「独自性を放つ色彩の表現者たち 日本の写真作家と、色のはなし」を寄稿、現在は『キヤノンフォトサークル』で「カメラが見つめる時代――写真史をアップデートする」を連載中。写真表現の校閲室「調エル」を主宰。
