ペインテッド・レディ（ヒメアカタテハ）は、世界最長の渡りを行う蝶である。ルーカス・フォグリアは、アフリカから中東、地中海を越えてヨーロッパへと至る彼らの旅路を辿り、その途上で出会う人々や風景とともにその姿を捉えてきた。『Constant Bloom』は、自然と人間、生態系と政治的境界線を切り離されたものとしてではなく、絶え間なく繋がり合うひとつの連続した世界の一部として捉え直す試みである。

Painted Lady butterflies undertake the longest butterfly migration. Lucas Foglia traced their journey from Africa through the Middle East, across the Mediterranean, and into Europe, photographing the butterflies alongside the people and landscapes they encounter. Constant Bloom reframes nature and humanity, ecosystems and political borders, not as separate entities but as part of one continuous, interconnected world.
