子供たちが夢見る姿――建築家、音楽家、料理人――彼/彼女たちの夢は、安心して生きられる世界を描き出します。 この作品群は、困難に立ち向かう子どもたちの勇気と想像力、そして未来への希望を讃えるものです。
Even in times of crisis, children never lose the power to dream. One Day I Will, a series by photographer Vincent Tremeau, captures children in disaster-affected areas as they dress up as their “future selves” and share their visions of what they wish to become. In early 2025, one year after the Noto Peninsula earthquake, Tremeau traveled to the region with the support of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Kumon. Working in local schools and community spaces, he invited children to speak about their dreams, their experiences, and their hopes for the future—documenting both their voices and their portraits. From aspiring architects to musicians and chefs, these children imagine a world where everyone can live in safety. This body of work is a tribute to their courage, creativity, and hope in the face of hardship.

ヴァンサン・トレモーは、フランス出身の写真家であり、物語を伝えるドキュメンタリーストーリーテラーです。アフリカやラテンアメリカ、アジア、中東など、危機に直面する地域での経験を重ねた彼は、写真を通じて「逆境の中での強さ」や「人の尊厳」を映し出そうとしています。 彼のライフワークともいえるシリーズ One Day, I Will では、世界中の子どもや若者たちが将来なりたい自分の姿に扮します。ポートレートに想像の力を重ねることで、紛争や気候変動、急速な社会の変化の中で育つ新しい世代の夢や希望を表現しています。同シリーズはこれまでにニューヨーク国連本部や大阪・関西万博2025、そしてT3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOYOなど、世界各地で紹介されてきました。 八重洲ダイビルで展示される作品は、能登半島地震から復興のさなかにある子どもたちの姿と共鳴します。不安な未来を前にしながらも、自分たちの「これから」を思い描くことをあきらめない。トレモーの写真は、その強さを私たちに気づかせてくれます。
Vincent Tremeau is a French photographer and documentary storyteller whose work lies at the intersection of art, journalism, and advocacy. After working in crisis-affected countries across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, he turned to photography as a way to explore resilience and human dignity in the face of adversity. His long-term series One Day, I Will portrays young people from around the world dressed as the professionals they aspire to become. Mixing portraiture with imagination, the project gives voice to the hopes and dreams of a new generation growing up amid conflict, climate change, and rapid social transformation. The series has been exhibited internationally, including at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the World Expo Osaka 2025, and now at the T3 Photo Festival Tokyo. In Noto, Japan, One Day, I Will resonates deeply in the wake of the earthquake that reshaped the region, echoing the universal desire of young people to envision their futures despite uncertainty. Through his lens, Tremeau invites viewers to reflect on both fragility and possibility, reminding us that imagining tomorrow is itself a form of strength.
