This exhibition is an exploration of the “inner garden.” The rippling of water, the presence of the forest, and the interplay of light and shadow reflect the primordial order concealed in nature. By surrendering to these elements, we discover a previously unknown space within the self, we feel the existence of our inner garden. Viewing nature is not merely an act of observing the external world; it is also an exploration of the deep layers of oneself. By crossing the border of reality, we awaken another reality. If humanity can attune life to the patterns and rhythms of nature, our inner gardens will open beyond individual consciousness to become a universal space resonating with the cosmos. This body of work visualizes the moments that emerge at this threshold, questioning how rediscovering our internal landscapes might lead to harmony with the world.

Takako Noel was born in Tokyo in 1991. She graduated from Sophia University and received a degree in Fashion Media and Communication from the University of the Arts London. Currently, she is based between Mexico and Japan.
Her practice engages with fundamental human questions: Where does the love come from, and where does it go? Drawing upon her experiences with Shamanic therapy in Mexico and the depth psychology of Carl Jung, she explores the processes of purification and healing within the human psyche. Through photography, she seeks to visualize an inner journey where forgotten myths of modern society are revived and reimagined, offering a space for contemplation and renewal.
