アメリカの社会学者リチャード・フロリダは、著書『クリエイティブ資本論』の中で、都市が繁栄するために必要な3つの条件を提唱した。技術（Technology）、才能（Talent）、そして寛容性（Tolerance）。この3つのTが交差する場所にこそ、創造的なエネルギーが生まれる、と。
T3は、その場所を写真の世界に作ろうとする試みだ。新しい技術と表現、世界中から集まる才能、異なる文化や視点を受け入れる寛容性——それらが東京で重なるとき、生まれるまだ見ぬ世界を見てみたい。
写真の次の章は、東京から始まる。
In "The Rise of the Creative Class," American sociologist Richard Florida argued that cities thrive where three conditions converge: Technology, Talent, and Tolerance. Where these three T's intersect, he said, creative energy takes hold.
T3 is an attempt to build that place for the world of photography. New technologies and expressions, talent gathered from across the globe, an openness to different cultures and perspectives — we simply want to see what emerges when all of this comes together in Tokyo.
The next chapter of photography begins in Tokyo.
